Black Panther has yet to be tamed. Since its release back in February, the Disney/Marvel superhero film has been lauded not only for its record-shattering performance at the box office, but also how it challenged the status quo of superhero flicks to become one the most culturally relevant films of 2018. Not to mention having a black director at the helm and a cast of predominantly African and African American performers.
